Dream Meanings

Do you realize that..... 1 third of your life will be spent asleep? OR... that if you are attempting to give up smoking you may have longer more powerful dreams than a none smoker!

Dream Meanings

What are dreams? This question has captivated the human race throughout history.

From the ancient Greek and Romans, through to Sigmund Freud, human beings have queried what the mystical stories that play out in the sleeping mind are and why we have them.

Dreams are considered the unconscious conjuring up of visions, sounds, ideas and feelings and other sensations at some stage in sleep.

Dream imagery is sometimes whimsical and not realistic and they are generally outside the control of the dreamer, with the exception of Lucid Dreaming. Dreamers are usually participants in their dreams and the dreams will appear to be very real while asleep.

Dreams could be frightening and terrifying, enchanting and fantastic journeys or they might be quite tedious and boring.

Dream Meanings - What are they exactly about?

To this day there is no well-accepted biological rationalization to answer the question surrounding Dream Meanings.

In the last decade however, with advancements in imaging techniques, like MRI, our comprehension of dreams has progressed.

For the first time we are qualified to see inside the sleeping brain and distinctly see which regions of the brain are working throughout dream sleep. The mystery behind dreams is on the verge of being resolved than ever before.

Findings in the sleep research laboratory have revealed that dreaming is associated with REM sleep .

Scientists now also know that the brain doesn't switch off when we sleep, it's actually re-awakened when we enter dream sleep. There is a distinction between the sleeping and awake brain however. Only certain regions of the brain are woken and are required in the dreaming process.

Scientists also now realize that dreaming principally happens in the limbic section of the brain or the region that deals with emotion.Consequently we appear to have an clarification for the highly emotional nature of dreams.

In the light of these new advancements current research has put together a couple of theories that make an effort to answer the question about Dream Meanings.

Modern Theories on Dream Meanings

  1. Continual-activation theory - This theory suggests that dreaming is a consequence of brain activity and synthesis and that dreaming and REM sleep aren't one in the same but are controlled by different parts of the brain.
  2. Researcher Eugen Tarnow believes that dreams are excitations of long term memory and that dreams take on the bizarre nature due to the format of long term memory.
  3. A study in 2001 indicated that dreaming is involved with strengthening semantic memories.
  4. A research psychologist Joe Griffin in the UK has postulated the expectation fulfillment theory of dreaming.
  5. In respect to this principle there are three ideas of dreaming.
  • dreams are metaphorical interpretations of waking expectations.
  • Expectations that produce emotional reactions that are not acted upon during the day become dreams during sleep.
  • Dreaming is a way of coping with emotional arousal by completing the desires in our dreams that we couldn't complete when awake and thereby freeing our mind to respond afresh to each and every new day.

These are a couple of the large array of theories that try to answer the question of Dream Meanings and no theory has even now been proven or dis-proven.

Is PayBox A Scam ?

Is Paybox A Scam?

I’ve seen a lot of people promoting PayBox quite aggressively online since its pre-launch on September 1st 2010. Naturally, marketers want to get in as early as possible, but most of them won’t tell you exactly what you’re getting into with PayBox .

Ok, Tell Me, What Is PayBox?

PayBox is a website which offers you $25 to sign up, up to $20 per day and $10 for each referral. The $20 a day that PayBox is offering is like so many other “Get Paid To” sites that asks you to log in and complete tasks such as subscribing to their newsletter or completing surveys.

What’s The Problem With Paybox?

While there are no specific problems that should prevent you from signing up with them, there are somethings you should understand. When I gave you the PayBox payment structure in the previous paragraph I bet you thought I gave you the amounts in U.S. dollars. I did not. PayBox plans to pay its members in what they call PayBox currency. This PayBox currency, according to PayBox is “autonomous and independent of all nations and governments.”

OK, I Heard Of Systems Like PayBox Before, So?

Yes, we have all had programs which offer credits or vouchers or units just about everything under the sun. The PayBox plan involves making their currency exchangeable with other currencies. They are of course conflicts of interest with getting paid by the company controlling the value of the currency you are receiving. In addition, the PayBox currency may never become openly exchangeable.

With These Potentially Negative Terms, Why Did I Join?

  1. Well, even with all these complicated conditions and no guarantee of making money I still joined PayBox for several reasons. First, the price was right. PayBox is completely free to join.
  2. Next, the information that PayBox asks for isn’t enough to cause any damage to my privacy and PayBox hasn’t spammed me. In my opinion if you’re willing to do a little work, then PayBox is worth joining and it is possible the early subscribers will make a whole lot of money.

Please tell me your opinion of PayBox, these types of programs, this article or whatever is on your mind below in the comments section. I am constantly looking to expand on this article so any experiences you have with Pay Box as they start to expand, please post them here for myself and other marketers to read. Also, if you are already a Pay Box member fell free to leave your referral link as this page is getting some good traffic.

So join me on Paybox
